This sweet 7 year old lab mix was surrendered to Greenville County Animal Control by his owner.  He weighs 45 lbs. and should weigh 60.  It appears he has been attacked by another dog and is missing a hugh chunk of his upper lip.  His teeth are in such bad shape they are just falling out.  This sweet boy has had a hard life of abuse and needed for someone to step up and take care of him.  We waited until the last second for anyone to step up and no one did.  The day he was to be euthanized we just couldn’t let that happen.  He is at the vet being treated and has had surgery on the upper lip that is so damaged and infected.  He is a sweetheart that is very confused as to how all this has happened to him.

Bandit is doing great.  We do not know what he is mixed with but he sure does like to bark now that he is feeling a lot better.  The picture we have is still to gory to post so we will wait until we get one that is presentable.  We joined the skin that was left together.  He might have a little bit of pulling from the stitching but he will be able to eat and function much better this way.  Once he was cleaned up, we discovered he had bites on his face from a dog fight.

Bandit is doing great.  His cuts on his face are healing beautifully.  It’s hard to believe he was missing a huge piece of skin the way he looks now.  He is a sweetheart and will make someone a wonderful member of the family.
