Adorable Beaufort is finally coming around.  It has taken all this time to get him where he can walk.  He is still very weak, but that will come with time and when his blood levels normalize.  Right now, he needs some groceries and Physical Therapy to build up the muscle mass he lost.  His blood levels are stabilizing which is wonderful news since they were all over the place.   All of Beaufort's Tests are back, and he does not have any underlying medical conditions that would have caused him to be in the emaciated state he was in.  Someone did this to Beaufort and then discarded him like he was TRASH.   The thought still brings tears to my eyes.  Sweet Beaufort starving and alone is heart-breaking.  

As you can see from the pictures, our dear boy is still very shy and leery of people.   He does not have one mean bone in his body but is very unsure how to act around people.   Puppies normally run and play and are in your face most of the time.  Not this sweet boy.   He is careful about every move he makes.  Eventually, he is going to learn that we could care less what he does.  We are going to love him unconditionally, and nothing bad is ever going to happen to him again.   

Sweet Beaufort is out of ICU and has been moved to another Medical Facility in Savannah, GA.   There he is getting much needed human interaction all the time while he is also getting his medical care.  We are hopeful we will be able to place him in a Forever Home in the next three weeks.   It all depends on how much weight and muscle we can get on him in the interim without causing any medical issues.  We are still raising money for sweet Beaufort.  Please, donate whatever you can to help us pay his Medical Bills.
