Sweet BELLE ended up back in the ER with a terrible allergic reaction to something.  Her entire underside was covered with red swollen bumps.  She was scheduled to come in and have the hard bump that had developed a couple of weeks ago removed and sent off for a biopsy.  Once they got her stable from her allergic reaction, surgery was done the following day.  She is out of the hospital and being closely monitored.  So far the areas of concern have settled down and are clearing up.  Dogs that have had Staph infections have a tendency to have a very reactionary immune system until their system gets strong enough.  I think that is the case with dear Belle.  We are still looking for that special Family for this sweet dog.
