It's official. The wonderful Family that was fostering Betty has decided to adopt her. I knew it was love at first sight when Suzanne, Betty's Vet. Tech brought her home and her little boy went up to Betty and gave her a big hug. He then looked at his Mom and told her that Betty was so beautiful. That was during the time when Betty was still thin and smelly. She has now filled out some but still has a lot more weight to put on but smells wonderful. Suzanne and her Husband Scott are both in the Veterinary Field so Betty is in the best possible hands. We have opted to put off doing any surgery at this time for her mammary gland tumors. Quality of Life is the most important thing that matters right now with Betty. We want her to enjoy whatever time she has left in the most loving environment possible. If she regains all of her strength and puts her weight back on, we will then discuss medical options with her Primary Care Physicians to decide what is best for her. Right now, she is being spoiled rotten by a wonderful Family that adores her as much as we do. Thanks for caring about this wonderful girl.
