Our sweet handsome Traveling Man, Bobby McGee is doing wonderful.  He did not like being in the hospital at all.  Usually after dogs have surgery they just want to lay there and be left alone.  Bobby McGee needed to have someone in the run with him almost all of the time while he recovered.  We managed to keep his pain under control but he was literally scared to death after having surgery.  I am sure he was thinking, first I get shot, then someone comes in knocks me out and now my leg feels worse than ever.  He didn't realize it was only temporary and was very scared after surgery.  We have since moved him to a temporary Foster home where he can heal and go back and forth to the hospital.  His leg is healing beautifully.  We have to remind him to use it since he was so used to holding it up.  Bobby McGee is having lots of physical therapy to make sure he fully recovers the full use of his leg.  He is one of the sweetest, happiest dogs.  He loves everyone and is back feeling like Life is Good one more time.  He gets along great with other dogs and is going to make a wonderful companion for any family.  He is a very gentle Soul that just wants to be loved on and have a ball thrown that he can play with.  He came in a little bit chunky so we are slimming him down since he had his surgery.  The boy had definitely not missed any meals.  Let us know if you would like to bring this wonderful dog into your home to shower with Love.
