Our sweet Little Angel is doing incredible. All of her incisions are healing beautifully. The fistula in the roof of her mouth opened up a small amount but is still granulating enough for us to not worry about it. We still have to rinse her mouth out with water after she eats and she still cannot chew on any hard treats for another month to make sure she does not tear the stitches out. She has only regurgitated once over the last week and it was from the anesthesia she had to have for her last procedure. We think she is fine now. As you can see from the pictures, Daisy Mae loves people. The ICU team lets her come out of her kennel and hang out with them when there is not a critical care patient they are working on because she loves to have the interaction and hugs from everyone. I have also posted a video of her walking around the hospital meeting people and other animals. She loves everyone and does not have a mean bone in her body. Daisy Mae is doing so well that we are hopeful she can be placed in a new home in the next two weeks. Thanks for all the support and love with the most amazing little girl.
