I am happy to report that Diezel is doing incredible since his surgery.  I was apprehensive when they told me how they had to cut out 32" of his intestine.   He doesn't seem to have any residual effects from the procedure.   He is a Sweetheart of a pup that did not deserve to be in the situation he was in.

We have gotten lots of notes from people asking if he is going to be returned to the original Owners and the answer is NO.   We were contacted by the Family but do not feel it is Diezel's best interest.   Animals chew on things for lots of reasons.    We don't know if he was bored, neglected or what.  What we do know is that the Owners did not seek critical care for him when he needed it most, and he suffered.  That is a deal breaker for us.  Knowing there is a medical issue and allowing an animal to suffer is unforgivable.  That is why Diesel was not returned to them.   I hope they learned something and will make sure none of their other dogs ever have the same problem.   

Diesel is a wonderful young Pitbull that loves everyone.   He loves playing with other dogs and thinks everyone he meets is his new best Friend.  We have a cute picture of him playing and walking with Vidalia.  I am certain we will have the perfect home for him soon.
