DOZER - was removed from his owner recently for not being properly taken care in the all ways that we expect for all our Noah’s Arks Rescues to be taken care of. He had been left secluded in his owner’s house and not able to have proper socialization with other dogs and people. Thus, making him very protective and easily agitated. He also lost his best gal pal, ROXY.
He had not been bathed in such a long time, he was filthy and with a little hesitation and coxing from sausage biscuits, having never traveled in a crate before, we were finally able to move him into a safe and healthy environment.
He is now all cleaned up and everyday he is making vast improvements. He has shown no aggression with anyone, but more of a thankfulness that his is now able to be a normal Mastiff again. Being a tripod, DOZER isn’t overly active, but he is rather spunky as he hops up when he hears recognizable voices waiting eagerly to go outside. He also LOVES cats and he would do well in a home with a cat as his companion.
He is a Neapolitan Mastiff, around 5 years old. He was brought to us by animal control after being hit by a car. After doing all we could to save his front arm, it was decided that it was best to amputate. He is an amazing boy, who likes to howl with excitement and he loves his belly rubbed. Mastiffs are known as gentle giants and protectors; DOZER has all the true traits of his breed.
