Look at beautiful Elle in her cart. Nothing is holding this incredible little dog back. When she is inside we keep a diaper on her since she is always dripping a little. She doesn’t mind the diaper at all. We have just ordered a drag bag for her since you can only keep animals in carts for a certain amount of time. There has to be rest time for them. Elle has so much energy that when she is out of the cart, our little Seal scoots all over the place. She is rubbing her skin raw by doing this which is why we are putting her in a drag bag. As soon as it comes in, we will take some pics to post. Some of you did not understand in the last post that Elle cannot do Stem Cells because of the metal she has in her spine. We are doing the next best protocol which is called 4-AP. I have enclosed a link below to explain how it works for humans and animals. Elle will begin her treatment the beginning of the week. She will be closely monitored during this time to make sure she does not have any adverse reaction to the new drug. The biggest side-effect is that it can make an animal hyper active. Elle is already high energy so we are hoping it is not too much for her. She will also be given some herbs to counteract this. 4-AP has the potential to restore the nerve damage that was done to her spine. This would help her regain full bladder function and to also regain some mobility in her rear legs. Elle is the most delightful little dog with her adorable freckles sprinkled across her nose. If a dog being in a cart and using a diaper does not bother you, then Elle could be your next best friend. None of these issues we feel are a big problem because they are not keeping her from having a full life as an active dog. Can you tell that we are really smitten by our little wonder dog. We adore her will to do anything any other dog can do.
