This sweet 10 week old kitten was picked up on the side of the road after being hit by a car.  Part of her leg had been severed and was on the other side of the road.  She is having emergency surgery at North Greenville Animal Hospital to amputate the rest of the leg and will be transferred to Upstate Veterinary Specialists over the next week when she has recovered enough to have her other leg repaired.  The neck of the femur was fractured on another leg during the accident.  She is an adorable kitten that has had a bad start in life.

She had surgery on her back leg to repair the fracture and also had a lot of other damage that we didn't realize until they got her into surgery.  She is at UVS and will be here through the week-end.  This is one lucky kitten to have gone through so much and still be here.  Her front leg was amputated first and then her back leg was repaired.  She is doing great and is the sweetest kitten.

This sweet kitten has really had a hard time but we feel the worst is finally over.  She has just left the surgical facility and is back at North Greenville Hospital.
