Adorable Fancy Pants is doing great since her surgery. She is an active little pup which is to be expected given her breed. She is on controlled walks for the next four weeks to keep her from reinjuring her leg and to allowing her pelvis to heal.
Adorable does not even begin to describe this precious puppy. She has one of the cutest faces with the most amazing markings I have seen in a very long time. It is almost like someone intentionally painted her face so she could go out in the wild and disappear. Fancy Pants loves everyone she meets, and everyone is fascinated by her coloring and her fabulous personality. She is going to make the best Family Member as long as she gets lots of long walks once her legs heal so she can get out some of the energy that Aussie's are known for. Aussie's love to do tricks and figure things out. They need a job to keep their mind and body occupied.
We have not even gotten enough donations to pay for one leg much less two that required plating. Her surgery was very complicated and very long. In case you didn't realize this, the longer the surgery, the bigger the bill. Once you pay for supplies, you then have to pay for the time in the OR and the time in ER Recovering. It all adds up FAST. Please, Donate something toward her Medical Bills.
It seems like we have been bombarded with major Medical Abuse cases recently. You might not realize this, but there have been a few times when we were a bit slower. Not many, but this is not one of them. We took in four new cases this weekend that are each in ICU or the ER being stabilized for surgery. We will be posting some of those this coming week. We took in three new cases last week and most of those we will not even be posting for. A lot of these I will be paying for to get them the help they need. We know everyone is overwhelmed with all the animals. We have to keep going and hope it gets better, and that everyone will help. Please, remember that if you can't donate, we understand.
