This sweet adorable kitten was being held at Greenville County Animal Control because some juveniles intentionally abused him.  This is an ongoing case and we cannot seem to get any information.  The juveniles pulled his front leg so hard by either swinging or pulling it that they completely destroyed the radial nerve on the front left leg.  The leg is now useless and requires complete amputation.  Since no one wanted to take on the expense of this sweet kitten, he was set to be euthanized. 

We were just shocked that the authorities did not go after the parents to make sure this kitten was taken care of.  We stepped up to make sure he gets the treatment he needs and to get him in a loving environment where he will be protected.  He has been at North Greenville Animal Hospital and is now in a foster home.  The juveniles have still not been charged with the abuse of this kitten.

Firepaw has had his leg removed and is being loved on by his foster’s son that named him FIREPAW.  Now this is one young man that is learning to love and care for all animals.  Isn’t that the sweetest picture?
