GABE has found his Forever Family. 

Gabe fell ill about two weeks ago. We noticed he wasn't himself and took him into our Medical Care Facility right away. That same day a family called about Gabe, inquiring about adopting him. We explained we had to wait and see what was going on with Gabe, but we would remain in touch. 

Gabe was sick. Very sick. Sadly Gabe has been diagnosed with a Parasite Infection called Babesiosis. Gabe was infected with this most likely from the dog who so brutally attacked him. It is a disease he will have for the rest of his life. 

But, just like sweet Gabe, he was bouncing back and feeling like his old self again. His new Family was smitten with Gabe immediately. They called daily to check on him. We educated ourselves on Gabe's disease and the medications he will have to take every day for the rest of his life. His new family wasn't giving up on Gabe, and neither were we. 

Gabe is happy & loved. He is enjoying all his new snuggles with his new family. He has two big brothers to play with. His new Poppa takes him to work. His new Momma loves to cuddle with him. Gabe also has a spunky little playmate too, Harley. 

Happy endings bring exciting new adventures. We couldn't happier for this incredibly special pup.
