This sweet lab was picked up by animal control in Darlington, SC and dropped off at the shelter.  She was then left in a a cage without any water, food or anything until someone noticed her late that night and called us.  She is so emaciated that we can't believe she is still alive.  We are calling her Saving Grace because that is exactly what we are going to do.  She is at the vet being treated and will be there for some time until she gets healthy.  She is loaded with everything imaginable and is HW+ which we will also treat as soon as she regains her health.  Thank the Lord she was able to break the line that was holding her so she could get free.  We think she is around two years old and is so sweet and loving.  What is wrong with people that they could tie up a beautiful lab and watch it suffer like this.

Grace is finally putting some weight on.  She has gained 7 lbs. since she was picked up.  She is being treated at Anderson Vet Hospital in Darlington, SC.  We are hoping that as soon as she can leave the vet we will have a wonderful foster or home where she can put the balance of her weight back on and continue her treatments.

Grace has been adopted and is doing wonderful in her new surroundings.  She has put on approx. 10 pounds and is slowly gaining more each day.  She will start her HW treatment this week.  Her recent pictures are below.
