HERSHEY is doing well after his first dose of CHEMO.   As you can see from the video, he is one happy boy.   He is still not out of the woods because he has so many small tumors in his lungs.  We need for the chemo to slow down the growth rate which is why we are starting it now.   The good news is that he has done wonderful since we removed the massive tumor on his head.  His whole personality has changed and he is an energetic pup that just wants to play.    We have to take it day to day with him because there are still so many unknowns that can happen.   What we do know is that he is happy and getting loved on 24 hours a day.   He is slowly gaining weight but is still very thin.   He needs to gain approx. 20 more pounds to fill out for his size.   Hershey is still in the hospital and should be getting out in a couple of days.   We don't know how long he has but we do know he is happy and loved and is no longer suffering with his facial tumor.   As you can tell from the picture with sweet Suzanne, his Oncology Vet. Tech, this boy is not lacking for love and affection.
