HOSS

I am very happy to say that sweet Hoss is finally stable.   His calcium level is coming down and his blood is looking better.   The main issue we are dealing with now is still determining exactly what set this reaction off.  We know he had a reaction to the Immiticide and then he had a reaction to the prednisone.  What we are working on now is discovering any underlying condition that raised up it's ugly head when his body was spiraling out of control.

Hoss is now showing extensive neurological problems from nerve issues.   During the night, we had him transferred to the University of Missouri where they have an incredible Neurology Department and Oncology department.  This is where Bubbles just came back from.   He arrived around 5:00 AM and was immediately taken to ICU which is where he is now.   I have already spoken to the team of doctor's that are overseeing his case.  They feel good about his progress in the last few days but are still cautiously optimistic given we still have so much that we do not know.   Right now, they are in the gathering of information stage to get the best assessment of exactly what is happening right now and over the next few days with Hoss.  We still need to keep this dear boy in our thoughts and prayers.  He still has a long, long way to go.

Hoss will probably be in the hospital for the next two week.   We need all the funds we can get to stay on top of his medical bills since his situation is so unpredictable.   Thanks for caring about him and making this journey possible.

For everyone that has asked, Hoss will be going back to his Family once he is well.    They did all they could for him and knew when it was time to ask for outside help.  His family drove him to Missouri last night.
