I am happy to report that sweet Nene is ready for her new home.  The healing of her foot has progressed to the point where she does not have to have any more bandage changes.   She is  a little tentative at first when she goes outside to run around but once she realizes she can run around she takes off.   I am not sure what happened to little Nene prior to us getting her, except the fact she was attacked by a larger dog.   What we have learned is that if something scares her, she will let out a blood-curdling scream that will shake you to your core.  She doesn't do it too often but when she does, you immediately  think something horrible has happened or that she is in terrible pain.  You turn around only to see the most angelic little pup that is looking at you, like you are the crazy one.   I am sure she has her reasons for doing this, but we are just not quite sure what they are.   We all love her just the same and know she is going to make someone very happy with her sweet personality.
