Sweet Noelle is still in ICU. She has had the worst time of it. I was so distraught about how she was looking and feeling that on Thursday I was going to help her cross over the Rainbow Bridge. Her blood levels were all over the place, she was still regurgitating even with the NG Tube, and she felt terrible. We had to do another procedure on Friday to open up her bile duct, and I was not going to put her through another procedure. Friday was a horrible day of pain and suffering, hers and mine.
She must have known I was going to do something drastic because Saturday morning she started to eat and was able to keep it down. She finally decided to go for a walk and was able to go to the bathroom without any issues. I was still not convinced she had a good Quality of Life, so she decided she had better put on a really good show for my benefit. She started to wag her tail like there was no tomorrow and was asking for treats from everyone she saw in the hospital. Her Oncologist, Dr. Rissetto decided to lift her spirits by allowing her to stay in her lap for most of the day. She kept her food down during the night, and her blood values were closer to the normal range this morning. Her Specialists decided she had improved enough to remove the NG Tube this morning since she was eating on her own without any issues. Fingers crossed this sweet girl does not have another setback.
Noelle is one of the sweetest Beagles you will ever meet. She is pure Love and Joy. To see her looking and feeling so bad just tore my heart out. I can't tell you how much we all love this very special girl. For her to endure all she has been through and not get to enjoy the rest of her Life free of pain, was heartbreaking.
We are desperate for donations for this sweet girl. Noelle wants you to donate since she has decided she wants to be here. She has had four major procedures since Tuesday, and each one costs thousands. Please, donate whatever you can and forward to your Beagle loving friends so they can also donate. Noelle is doing her part, and we have to do our part to make sure she gets whatever she needs to Survive and Thrive. Thanks for caring and keeping this special girl in your Prayers.
