Dear Pansy is one lucky girl. All of her biopsies came back benign with clean margins, and she will not need any further treatment for the masses. Her large hernia repair has remained intact, and she will not need any further surgery. Pansy is a sweet, adorable pup that we were sure was going to have to endure rounds of radiation or chemo. The fact she does not is a Miracle given she has had the masses and the hernia for so long.
Pansy has recovered beautifully from her procedures. We thought she would be miserable for quite some time, but she wanted to eat and play one day later. Our little girl is acting more like a young dog instead of an older dog. She loves everyone she meets and enjoys being around dogs and cats. She is going to make an incredible member of the Family for someone special.
I am always in awe that anyone in their right Mind could ever allow an animal to get in this shape and then abandon the animal. Pansy is a delightful little dog that has stolen the hearts of many. We are now taking Adoption Applications for her. All she will need from here on out is unconditional Love. You can't have a better outcome than this for one of our animals.
We have received very little in Donations for this sweet girl because of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Her surgery was quite extensive because of the Hernia Repair. We have to stay on top of these bills, or we will not be able to take on more animals like Pansy. If you cannot donate at this time, please, forward to your Animal Loving Friends to give them the opportunity to help this very special girl. Thanks for caring and making her Journey to heal and find love possible.
