Sweet Pepper is doing great since she had her Mammary Tumors removed.  Her swelling has gone down, and she is only on a low dose of pain meds.  This week was the first week for her Palladia Chemotherapy, and so far she has tolerated it without any side-effects.    We will do chest x-rays in a couple of months to make sure she does not have any new growths in her lungs.  The growths were so tiny that two of the Oncologist and Radiologist did not even see them.   We had them sent off for further diagnostics, and it does appear she has a tiny nodule which we are going to be watching.  For an older Gal that had such a large tumor, she is fortunate only to have the one area in her lungs that was affected.

Pepper can go into Foster Care this week and leave the hospital.    She is a sweet loving girl that is a little bit picky about the other dogs in the house.  Old age will do that to you.   She is best being around a dog that is very passive.   We will be supplying all of her Palladia treatments with the condition she will have to have her blood values tested once a month to make sure her values are not dipping too low on the Chemotherapy.
