PEPPER is a wonderful, older gal who would do amazing with a family looking for a laid-back loving companion. She has come out of her shell since arriving at our rehab facility and looks forward to her daily playtime with our caretakers. PEPPER will gladly jump around and chase whatever toy or ball you choose to toss! Make no mistake, though, PEPPER is a mild-mannered sweetheart who would prefer to lay at your feet all day in return for some affectionate belly rubs.

PEPPER was formerly used as a breeder and thus has issues around other dogs if they get too close for comfort. It would be best for PEPPER if she were the only four-legged friend in the home receiving all your love! PEPPER is also currently responding very well to her cancer treatment and we believe she has many good years left to enjoy with a new family!

PEPPER is a very smart doggy who walks tremendously well on leash. She is crate-trained and a joy to watch while she eats her meals each day out of one of her interactive feeders.

PEPPER has thrived since arriving with us. She has put on the weight she needed. She has learned to play, smile and be a dog again. She has experienced the joy of being loved by humans. All that’s left for PEPPER is to find a loving, peaceful home to enjoy.
