We all needed some good news so I decided it was worth it to share this great little picture of sweet Petunia after she woke up and decided she felt well enough to go outside on her own.  The picture is of Petunia reaching in to give our incredible Dr. Elizabeth Niciu a much deserved kiss for all her wonderful work and tender loving care.    Dr. Niciu has worked tirelessly for the last two days to keep this sweet girl alive and comfortable.   

Having Petunia stand up on her own with her eyes bright and cheerful is  a wonderful sign.   She is probably thinking "where is my food and move out of my way so I can get to it".

​Sorry for bombarding everyone's e-mail with this update after just sending one out.   We didn't have the picture earlier and really wanted to put a smile on everyone's face that has been so upset about sweet Petunia.   Our little Angel is fighting to be here and we are doing everything possible to keep her safe, comfortable and happy.   

Good news comes in many forms.   To see a pup walk and reach in for a kiss may not seem like much but it is everything to a pup that could not even raise her head.
