PETUNIA is feeling incredible.   The worst is over for this wonderful little dog.  I say little dog because she is a puppy but she is not going to be a little dog.   Her DNA results have still not come back but we will post as soon as we have it.    It is just a matter of time before her scabs will quit forming.   We are debriding her skin  twice a week now.  As you can see from the pictures, her skin is no longer oozing like it has been.   It is very dry and the infection is going away.    All our sweet girl wants to do is play.  When she is outside, she goes 90 miles an hour.    It is just a matter of time when she is on a maintenance program that will enable her body to heal and allow the hair to grow back.   Right now, we are still heavy into her medical program to make sure none of the infection comes back.   She has a small amount of mites that are still on her skin.   Those should be gone in the next two weeks.

​We have received lots of applications for this wonderful pup.   I wish we could get this many for all of our other dogs.   We will not be able to determine which Family would be best until she has healed enough for us to allow her to freely be with other dogs.  We do not anticipate there to be any issues but we need to make sure before we pick the best possible Family for her.   If you have sent in an application, please, be patient with the process.  Contacting us every day does not change the outcome of our decision.   We place animals in homes we think will last their Lifetime.   We should know within the next two weeks the lucky Family.
