Skilo is an 11 month old male, pure breed sheltie. He was picked up by Greenville County Animal Control after being found on the side of the road completely paralyzed. It appears he was attacked by a large dog that broke his neck because he was covered with bite marks all around where the injury was. He is at Upstate Veterinary Specialists where he is being treated. He has already had one of his surgeries and is slowly getting better but has a long way to go before he will be able to walk again. This is a dog worth saving. He is a beautiful sweet pup that will have a long life ahead of him if we can get him all the medical help he needs.

Skilo is making lots of progress. He has re-hab several times a day and is being spoiled rotten by his new adoptive family. They just love this sweet dog. We are determined he will walk again and be able to run around, it is just going to take a while for that to happen. Every day he makes lots of progress.

Skilo is doing wonderful. He is running around, jumping just like a regular dog. Thanks to his wonderful new home and the re-hab they have done on him daily, he is not only walking but running. Look at him running around with his new family below.
