Sweet Sparrow's wounds are healing beautifully.  He is an amazing little dog that takes whatever we have to do to him with a smile on his face and a kiss.   The cultures we took show he is still growing several different bacterias.  His wounds look great so the antibiotics are working.   It is just going to take a while to get rid of all the infections.   The only issues we are having now is keeping the ear canal open.   His ear has to be cleaned every day or the canal will close up.  Once the canal has healed, he will probably have to have another procedure to open the canal up more.  it is a very small hole right now that the surgeons think can be enlarged later on.   Sparrow is going to have to be in the hospital for about 4 more weeks before he can go to his new home because of his wounds.    We are still in desperate need of donations because of his extensive medical needs.   Please, continue to donate as much or as little as you can for this wonderful boy.   Thanks for caring.
