It is hard to believe this is the same dog that two months ago was torn to pieces.    He is healing beautifully.  His last cultures came back that he still has a nasty infection which we have been treating.  We are hopeful his next culture will show the infection is gone.  Based on the way his wounds look, the antibiotic is working.  Because the wounds were so deep, it is taking longer for the antibiotic to reach all of the areas that became infected.    His ear canal is still open, but the opening is very small.   He will be checked out by a surgeon before he leaves to determine if he will need more surgery or if it is best to close the hole completely.  That will happen in the next week.

We are very hopeful that sweet Sparrow can go to his new home in two weeks. It has been a long journey for him to get to where he is today, but the results are amazing.   Thanks for caring about our dear boy and being part of his Journey to survive and thrive.
