Sweet Trooper's surgeries were a big success.  It took a few days for the draining to finally stop.  Once it did, we knew he was going to have a good outcome.  He has not developed any fistulas since we did surgery to close up the hole.   He is still on antibiotics to get rid of the infection he had developed.   The culture came back that we were using the appropriate antibiotic for his infection.   

Trooper is the sweetest boy.  He loves everyone and loves to go out and play with other dogs.  We have not seen him have any issues with anyone or anything.  He is a happy boy that loves Life.   Since we have removed his Crown Jewels, his wandering days should be behind him.
