We hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday filled with lots of Laughter and good Cheer. Our dear Wilson had to have FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) Surgery for a hip that was causing him terrible pain. We have to assume it was from all of the fighting. His hip joint kept luxating in and out. He appears to be a lot more comfortable now that the surgery has been done.
Wilson still has a lot more weight to be gained. He had had terrible diarrhea since the day we rescued him and are finally making progress with that. His weight should be slow and steady now that we feel his body is adapting to eating again. Wilson is so sweet and loving that we hate he has had to endure so much suffering. He is coming out of his shell more each day and appears to look forward to all the love and kisses he gets daily. It is very hard not to give this big boy kisses every time you see him since he has the most smoochable face and caring eyes. He over-thinks everything to make sure he is doing it right. Wilson is the sweetest dog that deserves a wonderful Family that will Love and Cherish him FOREVER. We are hopeful he will be ready to go to a loving home in the next two weeks. If you are interested in Wilson, please fill out our online Adoption Application to be considered to adopt him. He is the Gift that keeps on giving.
We are coming to the end of a very long year of hardships and triumphs. None of it would have been possible without your support and kindness. We have Dogs that are ready for their new homes and more that are beginning their Journey to Survive and Thrive. Let's say a prayer tonight for all the ones we lost and rejoice in all the ones we have saved. Thanks for being part of our Noah's Arks Rescue Community and Family. We are still here saving animals because of YOU.
