JOE WILSON is looking for his Forever Home. 

Recently we tried to place JW in a home. We found he has some uncertainties with new humans while protecting those he has just bonded with quickly. We decided it would be best to send him to NC where he is now in Obedience / Socializing Training. JW is dog-friendly. He is even living with other animals including birds! He is settling in well. His new trainer family have fallen in love with him instantly. 

Joe Wilson is an older dog who needs a strong handler. He has endured much abuse and neglect in his life. Just like humans, this takes much time to work through. Joe Wilson is very obedient. He is eager to please. JW a love bug once he bonds with you. However, he needs direction and obedience to keep him focused.
